I don’t know that I have the words to properly express the way this resonated to me.
To say that I sat here crying while watching it, would be an understatement.
We’ve come so far, yet have so far to go.

Well there would have been a post for the 9th, except it never got written. Too much on my mind and no way to organize it into words.
Then there would have been one for this week, but with V day fall out and general discontent due to same… yeah Maybe next week. And because at this point it would just be another of many diatribes against the sham delivery service called UPS: United Pig-Fuckers that SUCK at deliver. OK its the wrong number of words/letters but it means the same thing.
So yeah.. This is this weeks! wheee!! ugh! humph! and other words that mean the same.

The below are musings of no particular order, of no particular grammar, and of no particular form. They are the mind scape and soul shaped ramblings of a dreamer and dweller of this landscape in which we exist. And the hopes that serious people will take serious action in the interest of the dreamers and the dwellers without regard to who paid them but with great regard to whom they pay their efforts on to in life.
The thoughts may not be perfect, they are the thoughts of a man who wishes he could be more, who wishes he could do more, and in the place of these dreams; who prays that those who do more and are more will do more and be more.
Snow, snow, snow, and oh did I mention SNOW!
That seems to be the focus of the news, the focus of the weather, the focus of the leaders, the focus of the people, the focus of a nation. In a time when great things are upon us, when moments in history are staring at us directly in the eye… we have focused on the weather.
These people are astonished, ASTONISHED I SAY, that it has snowed in winter across an entire nation that is in the hemispherical moment known as winter.
We as a people have become consumed with the being consumers of anything but what matters. I’m very guilty of this sin as well, so I do not take lightly this concern.

Welll… I had planned to go and see Harry Potter a second time tonight. I bought the ticket, set the clock and went off to sleep…
I was looking so forward to it. But alas between the crushing exhaustion and splitting headache… Yeah.. it didn’t happen.
Wasted money…
Sigh.. Here’s hoping I can get Mom to go while she is in.. I hope I hope!!
Ok time to lay back down so I can be productive for at least part of this day at some point…

Just three more days of work and I will officially be on vacation for the rest of the year!! w00t!
I do have a couple of tasks left to do between now and then on these two off days coming up. It seems like this year is much easier than in the past.. less to get done before the grand arrival of Mother!
I can’t wait till she gets here! wheeee!!

In 2010.. This is officially the last of the overtime I have confirmed for this year… It feels rather odd actually.. And that it is going to be just “short” 10 hour shifts… lol

I find this whole madness of the WikiLeaks publication of diplomatic cables and information troubling..
Not so much that they did it, not even what was contained in them. But it is forcing me to reexamine where I stand on this particular type of issue.
On the one hand there is Freedom of Speech, but they are not a US company… at least not as I understand it. They are not based in the US , but had business and financial ties. Until the various companies severed those ties. So are they covered? Do we extend these same rights even if they are not of this country?
And what of the companies cutting them off, forcing the organization to relocate its servers and or financial connections. I just can’t help but to wonder what inspired this, who asked them to, told them to, etc… Because seemingly as long as the companies were still making money, why else would they severe those ties.
Then there is the active war, with secrets being leaked by a foreign entity… It strikes me as espionage?
I do think though that if these countries want to go after Mr. Assange, they should just be honest about it and skip the pretense of “sexual assault” charges…. Unless of course they are legit… ??
I’m just really very undecided on the whole… Sigh…
So have they sank any ships?

I seem to be finding more and more of my entertainment coming from such sources as the UK and primarily the BBC.
The majority of my late night television viewing is catching up on back episodes of The Graham Norton Show, from now BBC1. Not to mention rewatching multiple episodes of Doctor Who.
And then there’s the radio.. somehow I had managed to overlook BBC Radio 1 from my sat radio. I’ve even discovered a radio morning show I enjoy again … first time in a while. The Chris Moyles Show.
So what does this mean that more and more of my entertainment is regularly coming from overseas?
Perhaps more and more of US media is turning to crap?!? At an alarming rate..
Though the argument is that it has been for a long time, and it would be correct. But I think it’s picked up steam lol…
Ok there was really no point here.. just a random observation…
