I have decided that given my renewed efforts for Health Improvement and weight loss, it was time I made a better use of categories for the Journey.

This will be a place of weekly weigh in updates, and a diary of what circumstances may have surrounded a given week. Updates will almost always be on Tuesdays. And the diary is primarily for myself to monitor my progress, and area’s for growth.

But, knowing how lonely a journey like this can feel – I felt there was some benefit from sharing the emotions and journey publicly if only so that someone else would not feel so alone. And I feel the best way to help with this is to make it as easy as possible to sort out the posts that pertain to just this topic. Thus the refreshed use of categories. Think of it as an attempt to put more positive out in the world, even if my post is of depression or frustration. At least maybe then someone feeling the same would know they are others on the same journey, likely feeling the same things…

I am grateful for all of the support I get from my friends and family all over the country, and the communication that is made possible by the internet. I can’t thank you all enough.

And now.. Off we go…
